A&S Design started in the construction industry in the late 90’s working for spec builders in West Hampton, New York. Starting from the bottom is never easy, but it gives you a more comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of a job. Cleaning up job sites soon led to framing, which then led to full renovations, managing a team and keeping a schedule , which leads to honing and polishing overall project management skills.

Several years later, A&S Design branched out and started renovating their own homes throughout Long Island, NY. While working on their own they found a passion for design, which allowed them to increase the size and caliber of their projects over time. Through this experience, they realized that creating a product that stood out from their competitors was the direction that they wanted to pursue.

Large Tile Format Bathroom Remodel

A picture is worth a thousand words has never been truer. We took a dark brown bathroom from the 90s and brought it all the way into a sun-basked white, modern bathroom complete with A-Z of luxury amenities such as: large tile format for seamless grout lines (2x4), floating vanity, rainfail shower install, recessed LED mirror, custom shower shelving and frameless glass shower door install.

Bathroom Gut Renovation

We took a small bathroom with a dated shower tub layout and completely transformed it into a modern oasis with a full rainfall stand up shower. We performed all electrical, plumbing, and construction on this project. This included floor to ceiling tile work, shower niche, exhaust fan install, glass shower door install and of course all the fixtures.

Powder Room Makeover - Modern Update

What started out as dark wood, bronzed look evolved into a clean, white, modern powder room that is easy on the eyes. We went with a marble and gold motif to create a light airy vibe for guests to wash up in.

Bathroom Renovation - Convert Bath to Shower

We took a dark, dingy basement bath and added a modern touch to it by incorporating clean, white and gray tones to create the perfect guest shower without going too overboard. This was a full gut which involved removing a jacuzzi tub, converting the plumbing to a stand up shower, full waterproofing and tile, as well as adding an exhaust fan through the exterior foundation of the home.

Laundry Room Transformation

We completely transformed an existing laundry room into a picture-perfect setup. We created a custom built shelving system, added a tile backsplash and incorporated a folding area. Now, that's a clean up!

Basement Makeover - Full Frame & Finishing

Full bathroom gut renovation. Replaced a 30+ year old bathroom in a single-family home per homeowner's design spec. Went from a dated pink and gray motif to a clean, modern, white in under a month.

Kitchen Cabinet Refresh - Dark to Light

The homeowners wanted to update their kitchen without breaking the bank so we professionally prepared, painted and refinished their existing cabinets from a dark walnut to a dove white. The finishing touches were adding soft-close hinges and replacing all hardware.
